Felicity’s yacht, Mon Homme, becomes both a stage for indulgence and a surgical theatre for exploitation.
Thematically, the chapter sets the stage for a story of bodily violation, power dynamics, and transgressive desire. It explores how intimacy can be corrupted into control, and how personal freedoms twist into sinister appetites when unmoored from moral restraint.
