A Woman Knows When He’s Cheating

She knows about lying and secret sexting. A woman always finds out. Yes, we have an uncanny way of knowing.

But when we do the cheating, we do it much better. No one ever finds out.

The couple toured her large yacht and then settled in the saloon on the bridge deck. Mitchell took a seat on the luxurious sofa while Felicity pressed her bare back against the side of the companionway.

She took a sip of her drink. “Your wife. A cold fish, right?”

“Who? Sam?”

“She reeks of the sea.”

“Well, I don’t know about that−”

“Come on, Mitchell. I’ve seen enough couples over the years. It’s like a sixth sense now.”

“The thing is−”

“She doesn’t care about you. She’s all business and no play, right?”

Mitchell was surprised. In half an hour, Felicity had identified what their counsellor hadn’t seen in four years. “Okay, yes, you’re right.”

“I can tell. You’re problem isn’t infertility, is it?”

“I don’t understand.”

“Catholic?”

“Yes. How did−”

“I knew it. It’s always the Catholics.”

“What’s the deal?”

“They’re negative towards sex – never any positive education. Sexual repression. It’s what they’re taught. Your wife has had guilt and shame put on her. She has anxiety issues, right?”

“I thought it would’ve fixed itself when we got married.”
