Under the alias “Cyrus,” Mitchell meets Jane in a dark, isolated park. She thinks he’s just a fellow photography enthusiast; he plays the part well—friendly, knowledgeable, disarming. They talk gear, storms, and stories, sharing laughter and flirtation as they walk into the mangroves to photograph lightning.
Jane isn’t who she claimed to be. She’s married, a mother, using photography as a cover for something more—just like Mitchell. But she doesn’t know Mitchell harbors a darker secret. He isn’t looking for connection. He’s hunting.
Their banter turns suggestive. Her interest grows. When they reach the beach, intimacy ignites. Jane initiates, feeding his ego and desire. But beneath Mitchell’s arousal simmers rage—fueled by years of contradiction, rejection, and lies from women like Jane, and especially from his wife.
As a storm rages above, so does Mitchell. The Beast inside him takes over. He chokes Jane, not for pleasure—but for control, for dominance, for punishment.
Her fear finally appears—and he savors it.
He finishes at the moment her life ends.
No one is there to stop him. The storm masks the violence. Her body is left on display—bent, exposed, discarded.
Mitchell retrieves her SIM card, a grim trophy for the bracelet on his wife’s teddy bear.
Another star for Sam.
