Lightning is beautiful, but it’s also dangerous. It can mesmerize, electrify, and destroy—all in a single strike. That’s why I wrote about it.
In SEETHINGS, my protagonist, a wedding photographer, abandons his failing marriage to chase the ultimate lightning shot. It’s a simple premise: man pursues passion while running from his demons. But is that enough to keep readers hooked?
Not by itself.
A perfect photograph isn’t worth much without the story behind it. So I dug deeper. Why did his marriage fail? What was he really running from? What would he find at the end of the storm?

This is where things get dark. SEETHINGS isn’t a love story, and it sure as hell isn’t about self-discovery in the traditional sense. There’s no neatly tied-up resolution, no comforting moral. The deeper we go, the more unsettling it gets. And when we reach the end—well, let’s just say it’s not what most expect.
I could have followed a safer path, written something with predictable beats and a digestible conclusion. But I don’t write for those who want comfort. I write for those who like to feel the tension in their bones, the ones who flip back to earlier pages to see the clues they missed, the ones who crave endings that leave them staring at the ceiling long after the last word is read.
Lightning isn’t just light—it’s shadow too. And in SEETHINGS, the shadows matter just as much as the strike. (The book is downloadable and free for a limited time)
If you’re tired of rounded clichés and want something that lingers, this might be the book for you.
