Welcome to My World of Words

Come in. Take your time. This isn’t a site you rush through — it’s a place for wandering and wondering. You’ll find stories, essays, and observations that circle around one persistent question: what happens between people when desire fades, twists, or turns into something darker?

I write about intimacy and/or the lack of it — the quiet marriages, the sexless bedrooms, the fantasies that breathe life into dead sheets. It’s not smut, and it’s not therapy; it’s curiosity. I’m fascinated by the unspoken spaces inside relationships — where love coexists with guilt, where wanting more feels like a betrayal, and where even silence has a pulse.

Many of my posts start with the small and personal — a glance through a keyhole, a whispered confession, a story overheard — and end up somewhere rawer. “Fantasising About a Secret Lover While Making Love to My Spouse” isn’t a shock piece; it’s an exploration of honesty. “The Shame of Wanting More” asks what happens when one partner hungers and the other doesn’t. They’re uncomfortable questions, but I think that’s where the truth hides.

Darkness takes other forms here, too. Some posts follow fictional threads — stories where ordinary people break their own barriers for very human reasons. I enjoy building tension, stretching morality, and leaving readers in that uneasy spot where they’re not sure if they should sympathise or recoil. Characters like Dr Felicity Snow or Mitchell Felding come from that impulse — flawed, intelligent, dangerous people who might look like your neighbours.

You’ll notice nude black-and-white photography woven through the blogs. It’s been my other life for decades — from black-and-white darkrooms to digital lenses and travel assignments. Photography taught me how to see: how light shapes emotion, how shadows reveal the truth, and how a single moment can encapsulate a lifetime. Posts like “Darkroom to Dark Fiction” and “The Photographer’s Guide to Artistic Nude Imagery” come from that intersection between image and story — between looking and feeling.

Sometimes, I lighten things up with a touch of nostalgia or a hint of curiosity. I might dissect a childhood TV show like The Six Million Dollar Man or The Road Runner. Sometimes, there are questions about whether AI can ever write something that feels truly human. I still chase those cultural echoes that built us — the way we believed in the impossible and forgave the contradictions.

And yes, technology sneaks in. From hacked microphones to second SIM cards, from AI “helpers” that flatten creativity to devices that listen a little too closely — I explore the tools we trust and how they quietly reshape intimacy, privacy, and even imagination. I’m not a technophobe; I just believe in being mindful of what watches us.

You’ll also find occasional reflections on writing itself. I love first drafts — that reckless stage where ideas pour out faster than sense. Editing, though? That’s my nemesis. Posts like “Love Writing, Hate the Editing” are my way of laughing at the grind and admitting that art often starts as joy but ends as sweat.

With more than 950 entries, the site has become a kind of diary in disguise — a conversation that has grown over the years. If you’re new, don’t worry about where to start. Jump into whatever catches your eye: an essay on love, a story about deceit, a meditation on the creative process. Each post stands alone, but together, they form a portrait of me, of you, of anyone who’s ever stood between desire and decency.

So welcome. Read slowly. Question freely. And if something here makes you shift in your seat — good. That means it worked.
