Wow! The Claremont Serial Killer has been identified, caught, sentenced and jailed! Thank God! When the news broke of this information, it shocked everyone. Police moved fast.
An all-concealing marquee went up outside a home in Kewdale, and then police sifted through the property’s soil. That was the giveaway that something big was going down. A person was named, and then it was done. It all happened quickly, and it all came down to a new piece of information being handed over to the police. Someone somewhere knew something, and that was enough to end the twenty-year-old unsolved crime and get a conviction. It was all mysterious but over quick smart.
Ironically, a few years ago, someone at a dinner mentioned these famous murders. That’s not unusual; the Claremont Serial Killer is the common conversation around these parts. This one was different, though. Apparently, it was common knowledge in one of the guests’ workplaces that the ‘guy’ worked for them—in a government department.
Well done, sleuths. This case is now closed. One case that remains open is inside my novel.
