It analyzes an image and generates tags you and I would normally overlook, in seconds!

Sick of thinking up and writing hashtags? What if you could have an app scan the pic you like before posting it and then give you a range of suitable hashtags that you can use to add to your favourite social media apps? Wouldn’t that be a cool change?
So you’re a fan of short-form blogging, right? It’s quick and easy. Instagram (and many others) is pretty, bloody short — nothing as brief as a picture and a quirky caption, eh? Influencers worldwide rely on short-form blogging — hashtags help to sort out the media into appropriate categories for readers to find.

But hashtagging can be a pain. Writing and inserting hashtags takes time. Not anymore. I’ve found a phone app that does all the heavy lifting with just a finger flick! I show it a picture, and it comes back with racks of hashtags.
Initially, I thought it’d be trained to watch for active-wear and bikini girls, so I put it through its paces to see what else it knew. And it seems to know a lot about a great range of topics.

It recognized a silhouette! How about that! What about people, activities, buildings and animals?

Nice. What about the downsides?
- The app usually adds its own tag to the set.
- It requires Internet access.
- Sometimes it gets it wrong.
- Spelling favors (rather than favours) American English.
Deleting mistakes or adding extra tags is easy with manual adjustment after a scan is done.
I haven’t listed the name of the tag generator here because many will do it (and I’m not sponsored). I just wanted to let you know that tagging software is out there and can help you get your tags done sooner rather than later.
There you go.

“Forman’s writing style is artful, with the protagonist Mitchell’s warped thought processes masterfully exposed. The author has a powerful and vivid command of language and his word pictures are stark and disturbingly real.”
– Linda J Bettenay, author of ‘Secrets Mothers Keep’ and ‘Wishes For Starlight’.
