Radio Identity Allegedly Inappropriately Touched Children at Youth Camps Walks Free

Police began searching Tony Brindell’s residence this morning and continued questioning the thirty-eight-year-old counsellor and popular radio identity over allegations that he “acted inappropriately” with a child at his Church.

Brindell denies that he inappropriately touched any members of his youth group despite a former student, Tracey Logan, providing police with new information last week. She claims Brindell was her lover when he was her high school teacher thirteen years ago.

“I’m not a paedophile. I’m Christian!” He shouted at the awaiting media as he left the police headquarters this afternoon.

Tracey Logan, now twenty-seven, recently made claims that Brindell seduced her when she was just fourteen years old. This comes after allegations were made by a member of Brindell’s Church that he acted inappropriately with a girl at a youth camp last year.

A third woman came forward late last month, revealing intimate details of a long-term affair she says she had with Brindell when she was thirteen.

The three women’s allegations have become the focus of an intensive police investigation into Brindell’s personal and professional life. Brindell, a well-respected Pastor, youth worker, former high school teacher and media celebrity, has not yet been charged

Investigations are ongoing.
