Police began searching Tony Brindell’s residence for evidence and continue to question the counsellor and popular radio identity over allegations that he was ‘involved’ with a child at his Church.
He continues to deny that he had acted inappropriately with any members of his youth group despite former student, Tracey Logan, stepping up with new information last week. She claims he was her lover when he was her high school teacher thirteen years ago.
“I’m not a paedophile. I’m Christian!” He shouted at the media while leaving police headquarters yesterday.
Tracey Logan, now twenty-seven, previously claimed that Brindell seduced her when she was just fourteen years old. This comes after allegations were made by a member of Brindell’s Church that he acted inappropriately with a girl at a youth camp last year. A third woman has also come forward this week, revealing intimate details of a long-term affair she says she had with Brindell when she was thirteen.
The three women’s claims have become the focus of a deepening probe into Brindell’s historical personal and professional life. Brindell, a well-respected Pastor, youth worker, counsellor, former teacher and media celebrity, has not yet been charged, but investigations are ongoing.
Tony Brindell wasn’t written into SEETHINGS to be a paedophile. He was just meant to be a kind, Christian man who simply helped troubled people get back on their feet. As I wrote more of him into the story, I followed his life back to when he wasn’t a Pastor, but a graduate teacher. That’s when I discovered that there was much more to him that no one knew about.
Did I mention that my writing is dark?

Five women’s bodies are discovered after the nights of thunderstorms. Their spouses are suspected of the crimes, but it becomes clear that someone else is responsible. There’s no blood and few clues. A storm photographer who specialises in taking pictures of lightning may be the only witness.
