Scars, tattoos, grimy teeth and a bad attitude are some of the cliches used to describe criminals. Assuming murderers don’t conform to cliches, we wouldn’t know one if we met one.

A telltale sign of a murderer is their history of crime. Petty crimes escalate, leaving a behaviour trail we should easily recognise. This establishes a reputation, and it warns us. But what if our special sleeper killer didn’t have a criminal history either?
Sleeper killers are unique people. They are those who kill once but never kill again. Their pattern of misbehaviour never forms, so authorities can’t identify them. It appears to be a random act.

It’s a wonderful new anomaly for a fiction writer to use and weave into an intriguing new narrative.
In my writing world, the sleeper killer exists to rise to commit a horrific but unsolvable crime. They lead ordinary lives and hide in plain sight.
A sleeper killer isn’t socially awkward or a bully. They go where you and I go. They behave and look like you and me.

A sleeper killer lives closer to you than you think.
While you’re figuring out who that is, read and enjoy SEETHINGS. See what one sleeper killer does when they’re busy living their ordinary-looking life, but snap and commit the perfect murderous crime. Read what makes them change and kill.
Understand that this could be anyone. It might even be you.
“Forman’s writing style is artful, with the protagonist Mitchell’s warped thought processes masterfully exposed. The author has a powerful and vivid command of language and his word pictures are stark and disturbingly real.”
