I Want to Believe in New Year Miracles

I also want pigs to fly if my spouse and I have sex before this year closes!

I’ve always wanted to be a believer in miracles. They say miracles happen when you least expect them, and well, I’ve been holding on to that belief for quite some time now. As we stand on the precipice of a new year, I can’t help but reflect on the events of the past year, which tested my faith in miracles.

You see, my one true wish was to be with my wife before the end of this year. Life had thrown a few curveballs our way, and circumstances kept us apart. But hope, that beautiful and powerful force, kept me going. I clung to the belief that a miracle was just around the corner, ready to reunite us.

As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, I couldn’t shake the feeling that time was slipping away. Disappointment crept in like an unwelcome guest overstaying its welcome. The end of the year approached, and my wish remained unfulfilled. The ache of longing and the sting of disappointment were undeniable, but I refused to let them extinguish the flame of hope within me.

With each passing day, I found solace in the fact that hope is not bound by the constraints of a calendar. The new year, with all its promises and possibilities, lay ahead, and my optimism burned brighter than ever. Miracles, after all, do not conform to our timelines; they unfold in their own mysterious and divine rhythm.

So, here I am, standing at the threshold of a new beginning, ready to embrace the miracle of hope once again. My wish to be with my wife may not have materialised as I had hoped, but I carry the lessons of patience and resilience into the new year. Life has a way of surprising us when we least expect it, and I’m choosing to believe that my miracle is just around the corner, waiting to unfold in the chapters of the coming months.

In the face of uncertainty, I’ve come to understand that miracles are not always about grand gestures; they can be found in the quiet moments of perseverance and unwavering belief. As the clock strikes midnight, and we bid farewell to the old year, I raise my glass not just to the passing of time but to the infinite possibilities that lie ahead.

So here’s to a new year filled with hope, resilience, and the unwavering belief in the magic of miracles. I may not have had my wish granted in the past year, but I stand here with an open heart, ready to welcome the unexpected wonders that the future holds. After all, miracles, like the turning of the calendar, remind us that life is an ever-unfolding journey, and the best is yet to come. Cheers to hope, to love, and to the miracles that await us in the days to come!
