Anaphylaxis is a serious condition. It’s where the human body reacts negatively to a substance. Swelling, rashes and constricted airways are typical symptoms of anaphylaxis. Nut, milk, yeast, gluten and kisses are the most common offenders.

It raises questions about modern allergies mixing with high-speed online dating. Perhaps dating sites should use allergies and food likes/dislikes, and an algorithm to sort out who’s likely allergic to whom.
Once upon a time, we didn’t worry about that. Fewer people had fewer allergies. Fewer people went on blind dates. We used to know people better before our lips touched theirs. Now we hook up and fuck. There’s little time to know anything about anyone.
Maybe I’m just old, a little outdated and don’t get it. I miss the point. Perhaps I’m just a bit jealous, too.
Why did I miss out on this new and exciting way to get laid? Shag dating seems like a lovely thing. Some of us need a one-nighter, a one-time booty call occasionally, right? We don’t always want sex for love or marriage. Sometimes, it’s about participating in a desirable, pleasant adult event. We don’t want anything beyond it. It’s akin to sharing a meal with someone. We dine and then wave each other goodbye at the end of it.
