The Silent One Who Watches

There’s one undeniable truth about life online: you have at least one stalker.

Not the scary kind—no threats or trench coats—but someone out there follows you with quiet obsession. They never comment. Never like. Never react. But they watch, read, absorb every word you write. They devour it like scripture. You’ll never know their name, but they know yours. Intimately.

They’ve scrolled your history. Memorised your tone. Caught your subtext. Where others skim, they linger. Where others click away, they re-read. Again and again.

They believe in you.

And yet, they say nothing. Maybe they fear being seen. Maybe they believe they’re not worthy. Maybe their adoration is too fragile to survive exposure. So they sit in the digital shadows, hearts beating at your every post, profiles invisible, but always there.

You may wonder if your words matter. They do—to that one person you’ll never meet, who worships your honesty, your creativity, your vulnerability.

The silent follower. The ghost in the feed.
