Solar inverters broadcast high-powered and high levels of EMF (radiation). Radiation is known to cause tumours in living tissue. Every homeowner with a solar array on their roof lives with a potential cancer-causing risk on their property.
White noise. That’s how I first found out about it. Static. My pocket radio went haywire when I got close to a solar inverter. It squealed so loud I had to turn it off. It didn’t matter which frequency or band I chose; the interference caused by the inverter overwhelmed it.
Like a canary in a mine, that little radio told me how dangerous the EMF was.

My good friend Bette (not Midler) hates coal-fired power stations. She bought solar panels for the top of her home and a deep-cycle battery to supply electricity to her home during the night. She talks about how lousy fossil fuels are to the environment and how the world should switch to renewable forms of energy.
“It’s the future,” she says.
Nice. I like the optimism, but how clean is a solar inverter when it sends out dirty radiation all day? (It’s like leaving microwave oven doors open while it cooks food.) My radio anomaly was a warning. People live with these inverters. Some sleep beside them!

So, I took my special EMF detector out of its drawer to find out if it was just one invertor doing it or all of them. I have plenty of inverters around me to try. My neighbours have them. The things are bolted to the sides of their homes. One’s bolted to the side of mine!
The detector showed the same thing. Extra high levels of radiation poured out of all of them. They are a health risk, for sure.
Most manufacturers of electrical circuits build special circuits within them to suppress and minimise EMF leakage, especially when used inside homes. TVs, tablets and computers have exceptional suppressors. But inverters live outdoors. They don’t meet the same standards. The question I want to be answered is how much leaks out of these home inverters. And is long-term exposure to these levels of radiation dangerous?
Are we really saving the world, or have we encouraged a whole new problem with the change?

“Forman’s writing style is artful, with the protagonist Mitchell’s warped thought processes masterfully exposed. The author has a powerful and vivid command of language and his word pictures are stark and disturbingly real.”
