“They actually make love in a cemetery while standing up. He lifts her leg and places her foot on one of the gravestones. It tingles when it touches the skin of her sole.”
Fiction writer Michael Forman is set to launch his third and most bizarre noirotic novel of all. It’s set on a prisoner island located within a bay just off Australia’s east coast. It is where a couple’s sexual adventures are taken to an exciting high on the back of a whole new level of strange.

His yet untitled novel will include the historic St Helena Convict Settlement found on St Helena Island. It’s an isolated spot of land located in the middle of Moreton Bay, east of Brisbane. Forman, who’s no stranger to the darker side of fiction, is currently researching the island to investigate the details of two cemeteries located on Queensland’s prisoner island.

“I’ve visited St Helena several times and have many photographs of it. I’m now interested in timing how long it takes to sail a yacht across Moreton Bay to get to the island. I also need to measure the distance between the two cemeteries. One of them is for convicts, the other is set aside for wardens, members of staff, and their families. My amorous couple will discover both plots and hatch a new sexual fantasy of their own.”
According to Forman, St Helena’s graveyard is, “The site of some seriously sexual kink.”
Forman says what makes the two St Helena’s graveyards appealing is that they are located near one another on a relatively isolated island. It’s rarely accessed at night and no one lives there.
“My highly sexed couple take a moonlight cruise across the bay, drop anchor and go ashore to explore the island. They find the cemeteries and use them as a perfect opportunity to express their desires among those who, they believe, knew true naughtiness. It’ll raise their stimulation to a new level and, as it peaks, my protagonist will do something that alters everything. That headstone her foot touches belongs to a key individual. Is it done on purpose or was it just a coincidence? Did it take their sex to where it needed to go? You’ll have to read the book to find the answers.”

The St Helena penal settlement was all but abandoned in 1932. Approximately fifty convicts died on the tiny island during its sixty-five years of service. The convict’s tombstones are marked with just a number, but civilian graves include names, dates, and a brief cause of death. The graveyards are fenced but accessible.
“I’ve had the benefit of seeing one of the graveyards after sunset. Under a moonlit night, the tombstones have a surrealistic, supernatural appearance. If you’re into that kind of thing, it’s a perfect setting for some kinky love. I give my couple, and readers of adult fiction, an electric but creepy lovemaking adventure. No one will expect the outcome of this scenario.”
The local government now maintains the once-dilapidated site.
Forman says that his new book will be released soon. Readers will be informed on his official site when it’s ready for download. SEETHINGS, his first successful dark fiction novel, is now available on Smashwords for free. Visit here to download and read it immediately.

“Forman’s writing style is artful, with the protagonist Mitchell’s warped thought processes masterfully exposed. The author has a powerful and vivid command of language and his word pictures are stark and disturbingly real.”
